I'm the type of player who enjoys building and piloting decks with speed and consistency. Adapting to various metas to maximize your winrate is fun!

Around the time Splinter Twin was banned in Modern, I was introduced to the game by my friends who wanted to draft with random packs. The very first deck I bought and played was Ad Nauseum, which expressed everything I thought was cool about the game. You can draw your entire deck, prevent game loss, and explode all over your opponent's face as they complain how unlucky they are. Overtime I learned to appreciate decks that win through engines. Traditional combos such as Storm quickly become boring to pilot, whereas permanents encourage more interaction which enable more exciting games.

I currently play Legacy Elves and Modern Amulet Titan competitively, and EDH and Pauper casually. As my lists grow increasingly expensive, I've become more involved in cEDH.

Yeah, I'm only recently trying out Hazoret the Fervent and don't know what to cut. To be honest, I feel Koth is the least impressive of the bunch and may trade him in for a Walking Ballista .

Hey bud, I usually leave Anger of the Gods in the side against dredge or aggro while mainiboarding 2 Slagstorm s in case my opponent doesn't play creatures. I do like the addition of Walking Ballista here!

Pyro Swath would work if we ran more instants/sorceries, which demand more card draw to keep the engine going. Bombs like Goblin Rabblemaster , Hazoret the Fervent or planeswalkers earn card advantage on their own for each turn they're not removed.

The only real "combos" that I run are Pia and Kiran Nalaar which transform redundant artifacts into reach or board control.

Gemstone Caverns because turn 1 Blood Moon / Goblin Rabblemaster win games. This deck's schtick is to deny resources before they can be played.

Not sure where you're going with Tormod's Crypt , but there's always an answer that exists. The question is whether your meta have players who use them. If they do, you could mainboard additional spellskites to protect our artifacts . You could even take out a Magus of the Moon or 2 if your meta is less fragile than mine.

Your opponent needs an artifact in play or Smash to Smithereens does nothing. We need more versatility preboard.

Magma Jet for the scry and reach. If your overall meta plays around blood moon this deck falls apart.
