Flicker seems like a not-boring deck that wins in unestablished metas. You can have fun just by earning value from various synergies without instantly winning. The goal is to combine Ghostly Flicker + Archaeomancer + Chittering Rats/Dinrova Horror to Softlock your opponent. When they run out of cards, play Ghostly Flicker during their draw step after they drew a card for the turn.

"Pauper" is traditionally an online format played with common cards on MTGO. I like to occasionally take a break from staring at my computer screen all day, and will therefore observe the ban list for "Paper Pauper." Unfortunately, powerful cards such as High Tide, Merchant Scroll, Hymn to Tourach, and Sinkhole are banned, and Chainer's Edict is illegal.
