Welcome to my page! Thanks for coming by. I enjoy everything Jund and normally favor it in every format I delve into. Modern is by far my favorite format. I've been playing on and off for years since Mercadian Masks. My first deck was the "Swoop Deck" and I've been hooked ever since. I took a long break around the time of 9th or 10th Edition to concentrate on school while unbeknownst to me, Modern was developing into a hot commodity. I came back to Magic during M15 and have been a student ever since. I dug out my old box of cards and threw together some pretty terrible decks before learning about Modern. I took a stab at Modern with one of these Dumpster Fires and got roasted by Grishoalbrand and I quickly realized I was doing it wrong. I eventually got together an 8-RACK ATTACK deck which morphed into Mono Black Devotion. Both did about average at FNM. I then got smacked around by Jund and instantly knew that THAT was the deck I wanted to play. Please feel free to post any decks to my wall that you'd like feedback on. I enjoy a good Budget build and the occasional Jank. Or is it Junk? Have a look around and check out my decks. (I have a bunch) Happy travels on your journey through the Multiverse.

Jund Midrange is my current modern deck. I jam Jund whenever I get the chance, and I update my deck list frequently.

It’s pretty good against aggro, burn and the mirror match. It’s a value, lifegain, extra blocker kind of card.

Hey TheGreatSlob. Thing in the Ice  Flip is a great card. I chose the name because the first thing that came to mind when I saw RUG (AKA Temur) was RUG-Burn. No real intention on burning out wins.

I've made some considerable changes since your suggestion, (based on your suggestion). Not much Green left in the deck. My initial objective was to make a Goyf / Snap / Pyromancer deck. This build is more concentrated than the original build IMO.

I use Glint-Sleeve Siphoner in an energy build to replace Dark Confidant. But I don’t think you want that here. Asylum Visitor is meh early on. Phyrexian Arena is also meh and doesn’t have a body on it. Dusk Legion Zealot can be a one shot, but cards like Sign in Blood would be better if that’s the route you want to go down.

Thanks for the love TheGreatSlob! This deck has a budget of approx. $250. I was noticing the light removal package today. It’s typical of Full blown Jund to have more removal and disruption than creatures. This build however is more aggressive and relies on creature synergies more than the usual variants. I do agree though that there is room for more removal. I would start by cutting a Bloodhall Ooze or 2 for either Thoughtseize, Duress or Abrupt Decay.

Welcome Back! This looks pretty solid +1
Cut one or two Thoughtseize for Nihil Spellbomb. Also I think you have one too many Basilisk Collars. Have you tested Batterskull? Collective Brutality would be nice in the 75.

Thanks for the comment Mr_Versatile123!
When I first built the deck, I was unsure of which 1-drop would work best for the deck. Bloodhall Ooze and Greenbelt Rampager were the two contenders. I started off with 2 of each, but once I started playing with the deck, generating didn't seem to be an issue in games where I didn't draw Greenbelt Rampager. Whereas, Ooze synergized so much with Winding Constrictor that I decided to abandon Rampager.

If you wanted to focus more on production, say a build focused around Aetherworks Marvel, then Greenbelt Rampager is a better fit for that sort of deck. That usually takes you out of Jund colors however and probably isn't worth the effort. Not sure though as I've never tried it.

TL;DR: If you want to focus on production, play Greenbelt Rampager
If you like +1/+1 counters, play Bloodhall Ooze

Also, to your point about bounce lands... With no room for Amulet of Vigor or Explore type cards in the list; it's not very useful. Also, the format is too fast right now. I normally don't have much issue getting energy so for one added synergy, cutting power cards for "combo" pieces doesn't make sense to me.

Thanks for the love Lazriel!! As for Bloodstained Mire, and why it over the other two Jund Fetch lands, because it is the cheapest of the three. It has the ability to grab any of our shock lands and could replace one or two copies of Blooming Marsh. I have enjoyed this deck so much, that I almost have it foiled out. lol. So much for a budget build right. :)
