Golgari combo help

Hi there! I was testing my new deck and stumbled upon a problem on what I thought was a very good combo.
See, my idea was to use Eldritch Evolution on Strangleroot Geist to put Corpsejack Menace on the table so the first one would return as a 4/3 to the battlefield, but realised that the Geist comes back to the battlefield BEFORE Menace is there, as the sacrifice is part of the casting cost. Am I wrong? Any idea on how to make this work?
The correct order is:
1/ Pay for Eldritch Evolution
2/ Geist's trigger goes on top of the stack, above Evolution and will resolve first.
3/ Geist comes back as 2/1 with a +1/+1 counter on top.
4/ Evolution resolves, putting Corpsejack Menace into play. Notably, it does not have an ETB effect, but a replacement one, but it does not matter for this particular interaction.

there is a nice interaction with Hardened Scales and Strangleroot Geist if that would help, its the only thing i could find.

you are correct order would be
costs paid for Eldritch Evolution
Strangleroot Geist persist triggers
Eldritch Evolution resolves
Corpsejack Menace ETB
not sure you can get this to work like how you want
