Can I play an Instand during my own Upkeep?

Hi there.I know I can play Instants whenever I have priority, but I wondered if I can even play one in my own Upkeep?

The example starts right away:I am using Mind Unbound in a prototype deck. To avoid running out of cards, (I have 4x Paradox Haze in this deck), I decided to try Isochron Scepter or Panoptic Mirror with Stifle as imprinted spell.Just wondeing if my thoughts about that are right?

Yes. The beginning of your upkeep is the first time you get priority during your turn.
