Adding "Key Combos" to deck page

I've seen other decks with them, but I'm not sure how to do it. I apologize if it's obvious and I've just been oblivious to it.

This has become an annoying feature because people will put something that's good synergy, and not really a combo.
Helm of Obedience + Leyline of the Void is a good example of a combo though. There are many others out there that aren't. Key synergies are different than key combos.
I'm sure Epochalyptik and Femme_Fatale have thoughts on this too.

Yea I understand. I mean I guess I can see where explaining the synergy is valuable outside of an outright combo though.

For sure. It's useful to know, and that's why the descriptions are vital...that being said I'm sure not everyone reads descriptions.

I mean with all the thought that is put into some decks, especially EDH, you can't really get the full gist of it without a forward explanation or something like "hey look at this and this together in this situation." Maybe it is just feature that needs some more re-tooling. I can understand combos being reserved for combos, but key synergy could be an equally important thing. At least while people are not really reading descriptions.

Yeah there are far too many utterly idiotic "synergies" in the combase. I mean, something like Arbor Elf + Forest is really stupid.
The problem with the combase at the moment is A) there is a lot of stuff that needs to be done to it to make it effective, a separate tab for the combase like cards page, and a search function for it, B) It is difficult to draw the line between what should be added and what shouldn't, but the hubs should be able to take care of that. C) the ability to add a combo should be similar to the card, but the form should pop-up whenever you add the combo in a post or description. The form would require that you put in an accurate description of the combo with a minimum of say ... 50 characters (just a random number) and it would require specific hubs (which are basically tags) for that combo. And finally, if letter C) does not prevent the pointless combos from being submitted enough, then combo adding would be reserved for upgraded users.

Using the format [ [helm of obedience + leyline of the void] ] (remove the spaces between the brackets) will give you Helm of Obedience + Leyline of the Void , which will be added to the section of key combos.
