DemonDragonJ They had switched to foil tokens as promos (instead of cards) for a little bit, but will now be doing cards again.

TheAnnihilator, that makes sense, so I share your joy that WotC is returning to having proper cards as FNM tokens; hopefully, they shall use cards that are not in standard, in addition to cards that are.

They will use Standard cards, as the promos are for FNM, which is predominantly Standard.
At best the promos will also be useful for Modern, like the Fatal Push one.

I am glad that wizards is trying things but also learning from them and not just being bone headed like a lot of other game developers (including themselves).
