Cards of Questionable Flavor

While not every card is meant specifically to satisfy player's wanting for flavor, most every card has something going on for it that makes it a little flavorful. Whether it's the ever-so delectable Master of Waves or the more modest Sphinx Ambassador (random cards I'm thinking off the top of my head).

However, some cards I just don't understand. I'm forgetting what they are right now, but I wanted to ask if anyone else knew what some card flavor was on. If people respond to this thread by answering my question or asking about some other card's flavor (I would encourage both), I'll update this thread with more cards that I don't understand.

For starters, the only one I can remember right now is Bow of Nylea . I don't get it.

You aren't alone in not understanding the flavor of Bow of Nylea . Basically, in the art there are 4 arrows in the quiver, and the bow has 4 abilities. Those abilities are supposed to be linked to the 4 seasons.

Maybe this goes in Lore?

At any rate, yeah, four arrows, four abilities (that actually count to four!) and four seasons.

They're kind of almost linked, too: +1/+1 counter is Spring, because growth and such; 2 damage for summer because it's hot, so damage; 3 life for autumn because harvest; and 4 cards from graveyard to library for winter because starting the cycle over.

Some that I remember from previous things I read.

Indestructible Aura -Doesn't make anything indestructible, and its not an aura.

Whippoorwill - shows a flying bird, doesn't have flying, somehow manages to stop regeneration?

Kormus Bell - no clue whats with this effect.

And of course... When Fluffy Bunnies Attack
