So i am in the process of finding my new modern deck and was hoping you guys and gals could help me decide my next modern deck based on its competitiveness. I enjoy playing all of the decks my only real concern is it's playibility. Thank you for any suggestions, here are my possible decks:

who let the apes, beasts and elephants out?

Abzan midrange

overweight zoo

and finally

Jund is back

I'm no Modern guru, but they all look like they can become some level of competitive with some tweaking. I've seen some really strong Abzan Midrange decks lately, so I might suggest going with that.

I would say all lists seem good and viable. With the Jund and Junk decks, you don't have Tarmogoyf or Dark Confidant, who both will do well in the new modern. I would have to go with the Junk list myself, because Siege Rhino. All other options seem good. You will just have to seem how the format evolves. I would look back at decks before T-cruise was printed and before the Birth giver were printed to see how it was at those time.

Adding to the Tarmogoyf comment above - he's one of, if not the best, 2-drop in the format. Almost every deck that runs green wants him.

as much as i would love goyf, bob and liliana, i simply don't have the money for them. Thanks for the suggestions though.

I'm in the same boat, I wanted to make sure you're aware that should you want your deck to be as competitive as possible, Goyf should probably be there. Depending on who you play with and where, you could also proxy a playset.

This is why I play mono blue ;)

yeah i mostly play at FNM but if a modern event rolls around my town i want to be able to compete and BW tokens isn't a very good deck for that.
