Name: Knowledge reversal

Cost: UUU

Card Type - Sorcery:

Card Text: target player puts up to two cards on top of its library, you draw two cards

what you guys think about this cards, is it balanced? IMO this would be an uncommon rarity card...but not sure maybe the ability to make your opponent put cards from hand to the library could be too powerful for a 3CMC?

Where are the cards coming from? The opponent's hand or field? If from the field, are they nonlands? Does the opponent choose which cards, or do you?

Ok, so it should read:

Knowledge Reversal [UUU]

Sorcery

Target Player puts two cards from his or her hand on top of his or her library in any order. Draw two cards.

I think that that effect is fine for 3 blue and sorcery speed. It'd be a bit better at rare, but if the uncommons in your set are a bit on the weaker side in blue, then there's no reason that this can't be an uncommon.

Seems pretty strong in certain situations. I'd rather it cost 3U or 2UU.

A cost of "UUU" just makes me sad when looking to put it in any deck that's not mono-Blue.

well zandl both things this card does are related to blue and having card advantage and delaying your opponents draw and taking cards away from his or her hand temporarily is not for less IMO, i do thing is powerful even tho i dont like Blue styles

Really, the only way that this would be 3 cmc is at the current cost. If you were to want to put this into another color in terms of availability, then it'd probably need to be 2UU or 4U. At that point though, you're just diminishing the value and power of the card.

Yeah, I think it'd be more balanced at 2UU. The only exception is if you have a cycle of triple-colored uncommon sorceries that you have to push limited players to play mono instead of two colors, which happens more often in limited.

I would love to use this card, but sorry even at 4cmc it is a bit too much. It's a four card swing. WOTC would be hard pressed to print it at anything less than 5, especially at uncommon. Think Opportunity at 6cmc as an instant.

It'd be competitive playable, but nothing metagame-warping. Compared to Tidings , the fact that your opponent can play around you putting two of their cards on their library makes this completely acceptable for one less mana.

I'm not so sure that's true. Sure in some cases its worse than Tidings but most of the time you're -2 to their card advantage +1 to yours. It would never be eternal playable, but why wouldn't every standard blue deck use it. I would love a card like this at 4cmc, I just wouldn't see WOTC printing it at uncommon with less than 5cmc.
