With the recent changes to the mana rules for EDH, is Bring to Light more viable as a tutor option for 2 color decks like Ezuri, Claw of Progress. Before it seemed limited in its ability to find things with a dual colored commander, but seems like now it would be more useful.

Well it depends on what you have out to generate multiple colors, but yeah it got better. How good depends on the list and what you can imagine tutoring for given any scenario.

That actually raises a question from me; so yes, I know tapping, say, a land you gained control of, would give you whatever color that land could generate now, but does that also mean with any color lands (City of Brass, etc.) you can declare it to tap for an outside color now?

Sloanan: Yes. City of Brass can tap for any color. Also, Chromatic Lantern became amazing, especially in decks that might need access to colors outside their identity (thief decks come to mind).

Prismatic Omen is also a great card that got even better now. And it fits into the color scheme for Bring to Light.
