Hey all. So recently I decided to make a Whisper, Blood Liturgist EDH deck. It started out as a pile of random black cards until I discovered a combo that I think can make Whisper at least a little more competitive. Basically the goal is to cast Buried Alive to dump Necrotic Ooze, Phyrexian Devourer, and Triskelion. Then reanimate Nooze with Whisper or another similar effect. Exile your library with Necrotic Ooze + Phyrexian Devourer and ping everyone to death with Necrotic Ooze + Triskelion . Although this is a widely known combo, I have yet to see it used with Whisper deck. In its current iteration, the deck (linked below) is alright, however it is wildly inconsistent. Goldfished games can have wins on Turn 3-5 (optimal) with a good opening hand, but can also last until like Turn 15-18. In these games I am usually just sitting there clicking Next Turn and hoping to topdeck a Tutor, Buried Alive, or a creature to sac to Whisper. This is where you, the reader comes in. The current list is just cards I currently have available for the deck (some of my rocks are being used elsewhere) but I am aware of most cEDH staples. However, if anyone has any suggestions of cards I possibly haven't thought about, or (preferably) wants to work side by side with me to make Whisper a decent(ish) general for cEDH. Im looking for people who have at least a little experience with cEDH but any help would be greatly appreciated. Or, maybe this is just a stupid idea and Whisper has no place here at all. Anyway, here's what I have so far, and thanks in advance for anyone's help.
