All-in combo or no combo at all?

Right now the deck is built as a synergistic control deck, but with what is supposed to be an accidental combo which I find myself tutoring for every game anyway because I don't have any better way to win.

I feel like I should add more combo-enablers (Cloud of Faeries) and another combo (Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal) and just go all out. It would probably be good, but it might not be very fun for opponents.

Alternatively I could remove the combo altogether and play more midrange value stuff to actually have a way to kill opponents, but then I'd be better with a different commander, and at that point in different colors because bug commanders don't have many options.

How much do you players take offense at combo decks? For context I'll mostly be playing with pretty serious players who only have themselves to blame if they don't have an answer to combo, but nonetheless I don't want to be that guy who no one likes to play with because I play an unfun deck.

I prefer to die by combo than any other way. It's quick and I get to play again. All my decks are all-in combo and it's great! The only caveat I do is try to make each deck have a fun midrange strat, so I find the combo through different means each game and I have different lines. Otherwise I'd just play legacy. But yeah. Combo out all day!

(Full disclosure I lost a whole pod playing this way, but we mutually hated how the other played, yknow?)

That makes sense.

As I'm thinking about it, most every commander deck has some broken synergy the they're trying to abuse. I don't think playing a dedicated combo deck in a relatively serious group should matter. Atraxa is trying to get doubling season and anything. Kaalia and Meren are trying to do broken stuff all game long. Zur is as unfair as it gets. Playing a defensive game until I win shouldn't be an issue. I'm playing to interact until I can win safely - people will have plenty of opportunity to play before I'm able to go off. I think I'll go the combo route.
