first competative run —April 30, 2018
We had a 'win a box' event this weekend... had people from all over turn up to play.. some new, and some RPTQ standard players.
my deck did what i wanted it to... absolutely astonishing :) went 3-1-1 with intentional ID in the 5th round. Lost to a BW 1 drop deck that just swarmed. (i had taken the Fiery Cannonade out last minute due to a bad judgement call.) and ended the swiss in 2nd.
my opponents: round 1: Esper Lich's Mastery i won 2-0 round 2: BW 1drops lost 1-2 (was 1 point off winning 2-0 and they got lucky game 3) round 3: Neya combo Won 2-1 round 4: grixis vehicles won 2-0 round 5: ID
quarters: BW 1 drops again.. lost 1-2
Hindsight has me remove the Unwind in favor of a slightly more aggressive approach Warlord's Fury and Opt as more prowess triggers and card draw.
