remove urborg

it is currently the only single color land I run but it does give all my lands black. Will be trying out this change and see what happens

hi, you have a fantastic decklist and I would really like to build one just like this. However, I can't afford grim tutor, imperial recruiter, and the alpha duals. can I ask for some suggestions on possible replacements for these cards? if ever you are interested this is my decklist for reference

Can someone explain the addition of the 2 drop turn spells and why it's better than ordinary prossh? I don't get it unless the idea is just cast one use the now not summoning sick prossh to beat the blue player's face in then continue to food chain. Or if it is purely for acceleration just "Oh I get an extra land drop, can tap my dorks, and now I get to food chain faster". Perhaps the tutors? I want to know if there is some hidden tech I'm missing with the extra turns that kill you.

Whatever777 the extra turn spells help make all of our top deck tutors much better on the combo turn. Also one of these is an instant which means I can take a turn whenever I want even after a blue player taps out. That means my combo will go off probably. The extra land drop, extra card, and extra untap step are very important when you are trying to go off with fc with protection. This tech I something that I am using, but I will not say that is it the correct way to play prossh. Prossh is a very meta dependant deck that you can morph very easily for your meta.

I'm just glad you could clarify, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing some super hidden tech lol but I do understand the immense value you can get especially with Worldly, Vamp, Imp Seal, etc. As well as instant speed turns, not even to mention sheer ability to kill a blue player on combat and win second main

Are Genesis Hydra and Selvala, Heart of the Wilds there there as Food Chain outlets for drawing your whole deck and putting one of the wincons (purphoros, goblin bushwhacker) in the field or is it something else?

firebirdhomo, Genesis Hydra and Selvala, Heart of the Wilds are both draw-wincons and utilities. One way of using Genesis Hydra is to top-deck tutor Food Chain then cast Genesis Hydra for 3X, that allows FC to be in-play first then exile Genesis Hydra for 3 mana (only 2 mana loss and FC cannot be countered since it came into play as a trigger). You can use Selvala, Heart of the Wilds as a mana generator and for color fixing.

may I ask why no City of Solitude?

I hazard a guess at Vexing Shusher being just better because it's a creature, and uncounterable. May as well use it because you get red.
