Upon closer reading, I realized that Shalai, Voice of Plenty does not do what I thought she did. Protects me and other creatures, not other permanents.
Went down Shalai, went up another Lyra.
Reading up on some metagame analysis from GP Birmingham, decided to go up a few copies of Gideon's Reproach to deal with Heart of Kiran and Steel Leaf Champion.
Tweaked the sideboard some more. Took down mono-red aggro and mono-green stompy 2-0 both. Going to playtest against some more Tier 1 decks now and see what can improve.
