Reflecting Pool does not generate mana in a colorless EDH deck, since your other lands are unable to generate colors... Or at least I think so.
In any case it's only going to be active 50% of the time, only when you have things like Mirrodin's Core on the field, which can technically generate color as far as Reflecting Pool is concerned

My bad, I thought Pool said 'Color' not 'type'. Everything I said in the above comment is wrong
