Last FNM people made a good point that red is only for the kill spells. No real strategy to the deck with red included even though Lightning Bolts and Kolaghan's Command are quite nice. With that in mind, I was suggested Doran, the Siege Tower! I think this fits perfectly with the deck and can help cut back on the Assault Formations a little. White does open us up to good side-boarding options and potentially better creatures with Assault Formation or now Doran, the Siege Tower.

I've been thinking about this setup- have you considered Hidetsugu's Second Rite with a bolt as a backup plan?

Haha! I love the idea of Hidetsugu's Second Rite! Having card's that generally make people 'lose the game' can be mean.
It'd be fun to include for some play testing. Probably as a 1-of?

Yeah,I was just thinking of it as extra triskidekiphobia copies if you have a bolt in hand- probably a 1 of.
