Hey there Tappedouters! As we have been doing for a couple of months now, we are celebrating two players of the month. One is the player of the month selected by our admin team here at tappedout. The other player of the month is selected by you, the community, by voting on Facebook from a group of admin nominated users. If your missed out on this month's voting, make sure to friend us on Facebook for next month's.

Admin Selected winner

This month we have a member of the community, who has been a member for a while. As time has passed on he has become increasingly constant on my radar. He can be found doing just about anything that you can do on the site. So I am very happy to congratulate cryptichorror.

People's Choice winner

The people's choice winner is another user I have known about for a while. This individual is mostly a very active trader on the site, but can often be seen posting in forums and decks as well. Regardless of where you see him though, he is being respectful of other users and their property. So a big thank you to 2austin5

So what does he win Bob

Well thanks to yeaGO and our partners at Cool Stuff Games, cryptichorror and 2austin5 will each be receiving a $50 gift certificate to www.coolstuffinc.com! Please enjoy, buy some cards, build a deck, you know...do that stuff that magic players do.

As an additional prize that I started in July, the winner gets the honor of being represented in cards designed by me. So exciting!!! (sarcasm)

cryptichorror 2austin5
In the case of cryptichorror I did not even ask him about himself or what he liked. Sorry man! I just saw the name and the rest was history. I wanted to make something that was a bit confusing and that was a legitimate horror when it hi the field. I am very happy with the end product, I hope he likes it too. I really want a playset of these. 2austin55's was a bit different. His name did not help me a ton. All I thought when I heard his handle was that it sounded kinda like a robot's model number. When I asked him about his handle he told me the origin of it which was about his soccer days. So the artwork became a robot soccer player artifact card.
When I asked him about his favorite cards, 2austin5 forced my hand. Other than yeaGO, I have not made planeswalker cards for users. But 2austin5 told me that everything that is his favorite is planeswalker related. Other than that, he told me he was a control player that really like to make plays that messed with people. Hence you have the abilities of the card.

Hope you enjoy the cards and the prizes!

Do you mean what program? I use Magic Set Editor

thanks :D always wanted to make a series based off assassins, where the series has two effects

Pierce x: Whenever this creature is blocked by a creature an opponent controls, this cards deals x damage to that creature's controller

Assist x: When this creature enters the battle field, or while this spell is cast, you may put x 1/1 red goblin, white human, black zombie, blue merefolk, or green elf token(s) [depending on color of the spell of course] onto teh battle field under your control

The abilities are made to have creatures that you just kinda buff up the pierce ability and swing wihtout worry of getting blocked (kinda a green blue deck) so if they block...pierce damage, if they don't...green buffs

While the Assist ability is a definite red goblin, white human, or black zombie thing going here, the elf and merefolk thing is nice, but elves and merefolk aren't as common anymore :'(

the entire idea is made to either get the assassin concept going, while the second party (assist people) is a resistance fighter group...I have made a storyline and EVERYHTING

talk to me if you would and we could make these into actually good looking cards, and possibly a series :D that I and you could print off...please contact me

I truly am honored to have won. I love this site and have since I discovered it a year or so ago. This and gmail are the two sites I leave open all day at work, so I'm constantly connected and available. I do it because it's a great community and resource. It's nice to get recognized and appreciated for doing something you love doing and would do regardless. Thank you again.

Can you give another hint for the secret message? I've been working on it for a while, and keep hitting dead ends. You obviously didn't just shift the alphabet over a letter, and the letters you supplied don't appear to work backwards. Is there a mathematical code? Maybe give us one or two more...

Oh, drat. Then I WAS on the right path. Oh! I get it! It's like it ate your companion, and now it's hunting you, as him... Reminds me about that short story of the alien in the Antarctic that took on the forms of all the people. What was the movie based on that? The Thing?
