Overview

Co-captains Malcolm and Breeches lead their crew in the pursuit of precious treasure tokens, building toward a win via either Mechanized Production or Hellkite Tyrant. While it is fun to get a cheeky, gold-plated win, this deck has ample aggression (aided by a small battalion of dragons) to overwhelm opponents with combat power alone. Many of our creatures bring a chest of gold with them, but those that don't play into the combat in one way or another.

Strategy

A Gilded Truce

With as many avenues as we have to gather treasure, digging up 8 (or 20) Treasure tokens to enable Mechanized Production or Hellkite Tyrant should not be difficult. Since these wincons check at the start of our upkeep, having instant-speed treasure production is key, enabling us to slide a couple more doubloons onto the table right before our turn starts.
