Hi, my name is Grant and I started playing MTG sometime during Invasion Block. I've had some prior success at local FNMs and played until sometime around Mirrodin Block when I began working out of state. After moving back home I started playing casual multiplayer with my old group around the end of Zendikar block.
Despite my username, I share the same passion as Sarkhan Vol has with dragons. When I was first introduced to MTG, I used someone else's G/R deck featuring Rhox and Shivan Hellkite. I didn't really understand the mechanics of the deck and got my ass handed to me. Then I watched them play the deck and proceed to burn the living hell out of people by pumping Priest of Titania mana into Skyshroud Elf and filtering the mana to fuel Shivan Hellkite's fire. I realized I must harness this power and make it my own!
My other hobbies include playing drums and electric guitar, and some MMORPGs. From '05 til '07 I played drums for a local rock band. I also have a passion for classic games/gaming consoles like NES, Super NES and SEGA Genesis.
Right now I'm mostly building Commander/EDH decks. I might consider trying out competitive Modern play if my resources allow for it. When I have time I'll post some of my old deck lists as well.
