What happens if you give Assembled Alphas menace?

Say you use Blood Curdle to give Assembled Alphas menace. If it's blocked, does it 3 damage to both creatures and 6 damage to the controller?
At that point though, the opponent will probably just not block, unless they have big enough creatures to kill it that turn. It's more effective with something like Roar of Challenge.

Yes. The key phrase here is "becomes blocked by a creature," so Assembled Alphas's ability triggers for each creature blocking it.
If the wording was simply "Whenever Assembled Alphas blocks or becomes blocked, it deals..." it would only check if it's blocked or blocking one or more creatures, yes or no.
