what hapens if i transform a permanent like say.. liliana of the veil into a artifact via Liquimetal Coating, them i play a Master Thief and gains control of it: when the efect of liquimetal coating wear off or i get to keep the permanent?

No. You will remain in control of Liliana for as long as you control the Thief. This is because the Thief has no clause that specifies the stolen permanent must remain an artifact. Rust Tick also works in a similar fashion.

I am not so sure. Because the card says target artifact, if it loses the type at the end of turn then it should revert back to its owner. But that's what makes sense to me

It only has to be an artifact while Master Thief 's ability goes on the stack (so it's a legal target) and resolves (so it's still a legal target). After that Master Thief doesn't care what it is. Although it is funny to think of a guy stealing a silver-covered Liliana and her not being able to do anything about it.And by the way, please don't title your question "What Hapens?" That isn't descriptive at all. Follow the guidelines next to the box when you're asking.

If this were to happen, would it reset Liliana of the Veil 's loyalty counters to 3?

Nope. Only time a PW's loyalty counters are reset is when they ETB. (for example if you somehow blinked it, it would come back with the starting loyalty).
