Thousand-Year Storm + Veyran

Okay, my brain is extremely small.
Veyran, Voice of Duality is in play with Thousand-Year Storm and you cast a series of 1-mana cards.
First Brainstorm - no additional copies are created because no other instants or sorceries were cast this turn.
Second Expedite - you get the original, one copy from the first trigger, and another copy from Veyran doubling the trigger.
Third Leap - you get the original, two copies from the first trigger, and another pair of copies from the second trigger.
Is this accurate or did I make an error?

Yes, that's right. For each of the additional triggers Veyran creates, the count of spells "cast before [the triggering instant or sorcery] this turn" will be the same as the original trigger, so it will happen as you describe.
It looks like Veyran will get a total of 18 triggers in your example as well (2 from Brainstorm, 6 from Expedite and the copies, 10 from Leap and the copies), which feels pretty good.
