Tevesh Szat, Doom of Fools
Asked by -Orvos- 3 years ago
If I use Tevesh Szat, Doom of Fools -10 ability with only 10 loyalty on him will the ability bring Tevesh back into play?
Assuming the ability resolves, there's not really any way for your opponents to stop him from entering play. When he leaves the battlefield for any reason, you can redirect him to the command zone, and this will happen before his ability resolves, so when it does, he will be a commander in the command zone and the ability will put him into play.

I believe so, yes. You pay the cost (remove 10 counters) to put the ability on the stack. Tevesh leaves the battlefield as a state-based action, presumably going to the command zone. The ability resolves and sees Tevesh in the command zone, allowing you to put it onto the battlefield.
All this assumes an otherwise empty stack, of course.
