Snapcaster with Gush (or any other alt casting cost)
Asked by MindEcho 10 years ago
Can I use Gush's alt casting cost while flashing it back with Snapcaster Mage?
The only exception to what Rhadamanthus said is if you give flashback to spell that already has flashback. So if I were to give Desperate Ravings flashback with Snapcaster Mage, then I could either pay or
to flash it back. On the other hand, if I give Lingering Souls flashback, then I could either pay
or
, but we all know which cost we'd rather pay.

Remember to check the Gatherer rulings before asking a question. These rulings usually answer basic card questions like this.
From Snapcaster Mage's Gatherer page:
You can't pay other alternative costs of a card you're casting from your graveyard using flashback. For example, if the instant or sorcery has an overload cost, you can't pay that cost.

Unfortunately no. Flashback, itself, is an alternative cost, and you can't apply more than one alternative cost to casting a spell. In your example the Flashback given by Snapcaster Mage is the only one of Gush's costs that will allow it to be cast from your graveyard, so that's the cost you'll have to use if you want to cast it.
For future questions, use double square brackets to link cards so that readers won't have to go look things up if they don't already know everything about what the cards do.
