Redirect, Reverberate, Twincast interactions with original spell?

Asked by DocLawless 12 years ago

I know that's not a question. I just don't know how to make it one. We're not sure what happened here, we just started playing spells on each other until we both lost track of the stack.

Opponent cast Lightning Bolt , I cast Reverberate and target him with the copy. He casts Twincast on my Reverberate , copies the copied bolt and targets me. I cast Redirect on the copied copy of the Lightning Bolt and aim it at him instead, then Reverberate (again) the Redirect and send the originally cast Lightning Bolt back at him too.

What just happened? Did he take 9 damage or did one of us do something we can't do?

He would take 9, as all 3 Lightning Bolt s target him

Why not jsut continue copying the Lightning Bolt ? After everything targets the Bolt, you can just simply add up who had the copies and then multiply that by 3 :D

I had 2 Life, my ultimate goal was to not get hit with anything. Also, we can't do anything the easy way, clearly.
