Nekusar triggers and Day's undoing
Asked by squittron 8 years ago
I know this question pops up often, but I am still confused as I found the following rule:
Day's Undoing rules:
"If any triggered abilities do trigger during this process, theyre put onto the stack during the cleanup step. If this happens, players will have a chance to cast spells and activate abilities, then there will be another cleanup step before the turn ends."
I also have found a lot of threads who claim that the triggers won't resolve. Can someone give me a clear answer?

I'm very surprised the rulings notes for Day's Undoing weren't written to be more specific about this. Sphinx's Tutelage was printed in the same set, and I know many people were confused about the interaction between the two cards.

That's referring to any abilities that would trigger from the "Ending the Turn" process in the previous ruling. The relevant rule (which for some reason doesn't have a ruling on Gatherer):
715.1a If there are any triggered abilities that triggered before this process began but haven't been put onto the stack yet, those abilities cease to exist. They won't be put onto the stack. This rule does not apply to abilities that trigger during this process (see rule 715.2).
Nekusar's ability never get's put on the stack.
