Mirari's Wake and Sungrass Prairie

Asked by Tekel_Brighteyes 11 years ago

I'm a bit confused on how this would work and it's caused some confusion in recent games. If I have Mirari's Wake out, and I tap Sungrass Prairie, will it give me an extra of either manna or an extra of each?

You get one mana that's green or white

With Mirari's Wake in play, you can tap Sungrass Prairie for GGW or GWW.

You'll still have to tap another land to activate the prairie. So you'll have one mana floating from the first land (unless you use Birds of Paradise or something other than land that adds mana for you), pay one mana to activate your Sungrass Prairie , and then add a green + a white + a green or white mana to your pool. So after tapping two lands you'll end up with four mana.

Ok, thank you all for your help. I thought it worked like that but wasn't sure.
