Deckling -
I'm a 'Johnny' type player that loves game-changing combos and drawing attention from players who think they have the answer for everything. I hate counterspell-type cards & my favorite card is Shared Fate. I love setting up the battlefield with artifacts & enchantments that make my opponents feel like they have to tiptoe through the game watching for triggers.
I've been playing casual vintage since revised edition (3rd). Sometimes Wizards releases sets that I'm not at all fond of like Inistraad, Dark Ascension, Prophecy, Mercadian Masks, Ice Age, Cold Snap, Time Spiral, Future Sight, Planar Chaos, but outside of those sets I have a well rounded collection. Since I learned about commander I've deconstructed all of my vintage/legacy decks and now I only play commander. I like the variety and randomness it offers. Typically I don't like the commander exclusive cards like vows, join forces, etc. but occasionally I make exceptions for my decks in order to stay competitive with my group. PapaChester can give additional commentary on my play-style.
On a side note, I also enjoy java programming and how the logic involved seems to have tangents in mtg or vice a versa.
