Jegantha, the Wellspring and MDFCs/Split cardss

Does the companion stipulation apply to each mana cost, or count them as one mana cost? ie. Could I run Beck / Call or Birgi, God of Storytelling Flip in a deck and meet companion requirements?

Well shoot, meant "In zones other than the STACK split cards have the combined characteristics of both halves."

If that's true, can I run Uvilda, Dean of Perfection Flip then, since it's only on the back face?

In zones other than the battlefield split cards have the combined characteristics of both halves. Beck / Call has a mana cost of .
709.4. In every zone except the stack, the characteristics of a split card are those of its two halves combined. This is a change from previous rules.
DFC only have the characteristics of the front face when outside the game or in a zone besides the Stack and the Battlefield. So Birgi, God of Storytelling Flip has a mana cost of in your starting deck.
712.4a While a double-faced card is outside the game or in a zone other than the battlefield or stack, it has only the characteristics of its front face.
