With the wording of Arcane Adaptation Would that mean Door of Destinies would trigger If you played both Crested Sunmare and Cavalry Pegasus

If you choose Horse for Arcane Adaptation, the door would trigger for both. Cavalry Pegasus would enter the battlefield as a Pegasus Horse, and Door of Destinies would get a counter. The tokens from Crested Sunmare would receive a bonus to their p/t, but would not place a counter on the door.
