Second wind thoughts because I can't stop:

You should see how many of the samurai in your next iteration are human and if it is large enough maybe work some human payoffs to help bolster your deck like Riders of Gavony, Thalia's Lieutenant and Cavalry Pegasus (there are several more). Note that you shouldn't add so many to dilute your Samurai core and if you have a good number of fox and other samurai this may not be something worth pursuing.

This is going to be a combat centric deck, so you may find adding combat related cards and some goad cards like Bloodthirsty Blade and Martial Impetus to help do damage and remove blockers for your turn

If you want to start to lift the budget cap: Flawless Maneuver and Heirloom Blade will be cool in this deck

Hello Vangoguey,

I see that your strategy is a white weenie flyers deck and I normally play white weenie for pioneer, so please see the below suggestions.

I recommend removing 2 Raise the Alarms and adding 2 Tithe Takers because with Tithe Taker's afterlife ability, you are getting at 2/1 and a 1/1 flyer for 2 mana, whereas with Raise the Alarm, you are getting two 1/1 creatures. Furthermore, Tithe Taker's taxing ability can slow down your opponent and this works in your favor as an aggro deck.

I see the Cavalry Pegasus' ability as a win condidion for this deck and, as a result, I recommend adding 2 Cavalry Pegasuss and removing 2 Healer's Hawks.

Similarly, I would add 2 Faerie Guidemothers instead of 2 Healer's Hawks because Faerie Guidemother's ability will pump one of your humans +2/+1 and give it flying, which would allow you to go over the top for damage.

Finally, your mana curve is low, so I recommend removing a plains and adding 1 more Hanweir Militia Captain  Flip because I can see her triggering often due to all the tokens that you are using. You could also add some

After awhile, if you find that you are dieing to decks with CMC 3 or less creatures, like red deck wins or mono black aggro, you may want to remove some of your [Giant Killer]s and replace them with Declaration in Stones as dec in stone exiles any creature for {1}{W}.

I hope that you find my recommendations useful in improving your deck.

Thanks,

Since most of your creatures are human Angelic Overseer and Thalia's Lieutenant can pretty good finishers here. Cavalry Pegasus is probably a better option than Garrison Griffin here since it comes out sooner and gives most of creatures (humans) flying when it attacks with them. Honor of the Pure / Always Watching is pretty cheap and looks like it would be a nice fit for this deck. Also Knight of Meadowgrain is also really good in the early game. Hope this helps.

This looks pretty good, although I feel like it would be nice to have a bit more payoff for playing all Humans besides Thalia's Leiutenant. Unfortunately it looks like the options are pretty limited in these colors but a few options would be Metallic Mimic , Icon of Ancestry , and Cavalry Pegasus .

So I'm trying to make a deck for my friend for his birthday and he likes Greek Mythology, specifically Poseidon, Hades, and Zues in this order. I'm wanting to stay in the Theros block and have 3 deck ideas but I need some advice and criticism because I don't want to make him a weak deck.

Here are what I've made:

The first one is using Heliod because I made this first and forgot there is a god that looks like zues but in MTG Heliod is the "Leader" or Highest ranking or whatever.

The second one is using Keranos and white humans so its 4 colors instead of 3.

The third one is sticking to the block and theme but also sticking to heroic and scry.

I have always been bad about including a safe amount of land in my decks so that is something i really need help with. I also wasn't sure if this was the best way to show the decks or if i should've just copy and pasted each text.

Thank you!

Sorry for the long post. Wasn't sure how to do this.

Hmmm, seems like you might limit yourself if you stick to just humans. Also the only cards in your deck that care if you play humans is Xathrid Necromancer, Thalia's Lieutenant, Champion of the Parish, and Falkenrath Aristocrat which that last one you can't reanimate with your commander.

You're probably going to want loads more tribal support if you're dedicated to just humans. This deck badly wants Adaptive Automaton, Door of Destinies, Kindred Boon, Kindred Dominance, Mirror Entity, Obelisk of Urd, Path of Ancestry, Shared Animosity, Shared Triumph, Stoneforge Masterwork, Taurean Mauler, Unclaimed Territory, Urza's Incubator, Vanquisher's Banner, and Cavalry Pegasus.

Besides tribal support, your deck might like Path to Exile, Boros Signet, and Sinister Concoction.

Lastly, while this is a humans tribal deck there are some non-human creatures that can give effects to all creatures, which when you think about it can be treated as though it were a tribal ability in essence. These creatures would be Angel of Invention, Drana, Liberator of Malakir, and Grenzo, Havoc Raiser, because their effects also apply to all your human creatures.
