if i use Scion of the Ur-DragonMTG Card: Scion of the Ur-Dragons ability to get Vorosh, the HunterMTG Card: Vorosh, the Hunter, and i deal damage to my opponite, do the 6 +1/+1 counters still stay on scion?

Yes. Counters of any sort stay on permanents until that permanent is removed from the field or an effect or state-based-action removes them. This is true for cards flipping (Kamigawa or Innistrad style), shapeshifters becoming other things (Volrath's ShapeshifterMTG Card: Volrath's Shapeshifter, CryptoplasmMTG Card: Cryptoplasm, etc), a combo of the two - Vesuvan ShapeshifterMTG Card: Vesuvan Shapeshifter - and this applies to Scion as well.

As long as a legal effect gives your creature +1/+1 counters, those counters stay on it indefinitely.

Even if that target is no longer a creature later in the game (ex. Inkmoth NexusMTG Card: Inkmoth Nexus, those counters will stay until they are removed by some other effect.
