if i use Scion of the Ur-Dragon s ability to get Vorosh, the Hunter , and i deal damage to my opponite, do the 6 +1/+1 counters still stay on scion?

As long as a legal effect gives your creature +1/+1 counters, those counters stay on it indefinitely.
Even if that target is no longer a creature later in the game (ex. Inkmoth Nexus , those counters will stay until they are removed by some other effect.

Yes. Counters of any sort stay on permanents until that permanent is removed from the field or an effect or state-based-action removes them. This is true for cards flipping (Kamigawa or Innistrad style), shapeshifters becoming other things (Volrath's Shapeshifter
, Cryptoplasm
, etc), a combo of the two - Vesuvan Shapeshifter
- and this applies to Scion as well.
