How does triggered abilities, triggered by the sae effect stack?

Asked by Kjartan 9 years ago

My and my opponet does both have a Boros Reckoner on our side of the field, I cast a Blasphemous Act, (seeing how i'm already losing), and I am quite sure his reckenor goes on top of stack and deas his 13 damage first, but i honestly do not know. I don't know why either :/

In the case of simultaneously triggering abilities such as this situation, the triggers go on the stack in AP-NAP (active player-non-active player). You are casting Act, so it is most likely your turn and you are the active player.

Your trigger will go on the stack first and resolve last, but will resolve regardless of whether your cow is still there once it is on the stack.

When multiple things trigger at the same time they all go on the stack the next time a player receives priority. They go on the stack in Active Player; Non-Active Player (APNAP) order. If a player controls multiple triggers that all triggered at the same time they get to chose the order the triggers go on the stack.

Assuming it is your turn, since Blasphemous Act is a sorcery, your trigger would go on the stack first with your opponent's on top of it. So your opponent's trigger resolves first.

When multiple abilities trigger simultaneously they go to the stack in active player - next active player (APNAP) order. In this case both Boros Reckoners receive damage at the same time and so both have their abilities trigger. I assume you are the active player (the player who's turn it is at the moment) your Reckoner's ability goes on the stack first and then your opponent's Reckoner's ability on top of that. At this point if you have 13 or less life and your opponent targeted you, then you will die and your opponent will win the game.
