How does monstrous work with leaving the battlefield?
Asked by HghLordOfAlera 7 years ago
If I make a creature monstrous, such as Ravenous Leucrocota, and then I return it to my hand, such as Unsummon, when I summon it again does it have monstrous still, or can I make it monstrous again? I'm asking because I want to use Hydra Broodmaster in a Tishana, Voice of Thunder deck to make a lot of creatures.

Being monstrous is a trait of the object. If a creature leaves the battlefield and then reenters, it is a new object. Therefore a creature that was monstrous would no longer be, and could activate its monstrous ability again.
