How does Clever Concealment work with end of turn effects like "myriad"?
Asked by ecariman 1 year ago
Would I still exile at the end of combat if my tokens are phased out?
Lets say I go to attack with Battle Angels of Tyr: Attack Trigger on the stack, makes ~2 tokens (if playing commander each targeting an opponent).
After the damage step, an opponent plays Retaliate, in attempts to destroy the main Battle Angels of Tyr.
Then I play Clever Concealment on the stack to save the main Battle Angels of Tyr.
So the question is, at the end of my combat would the tokens made from the myriad effect be exiled, or would they be out of play to take effect so I get to keep them?

From what I understand it appears that if you can phase the Myriad tokens out, they won't exist for game purposes during the end step, when they'd be exiled normally. The way Myriad works it sets up a single trigger, in contrast with something like Ball Lightning that would still die at the next end step. Thus, I think you get to keep any copies that you manage to phase out.
