Generous Patron Drawing With Infect?

Does Generous Patron trigger when a creature I control with Wither or Infect deals damage to an opponent's creature? What about the effect of Midnight Banshee?

Additionally, the rules for the results of damage specify that the controller of the creature with wither/infect are the ones putting the counters on the creatures dealt damage.
120.3d Damage dealt to a creature by a source with wither and/or infect causes that source’s controller to put that many -1/-1 counters on that creature.

Generous Patron's Gatherer page has this ruling:
6/8/2018 Generous Patron's last ability triggers even if the counters you put on another player's creatures aren't +1/+1 counters.
So any counter works.
