Flipping tokens?
Asked by Akromathia 6 years ago
This is me again, the same old stubborn girl trying to make Werewolves work in modern.
So while looking for new strategies, I got into a weird interaction between cards, and I really need some enlightenment.
So I had Helm of the Host attached to a Werewolf for the first time in my life, specifically on Instigator Gang Flip. At the same time I had Vildin-Pack Alpha .
So my question is this. Combat phase, the Helm resolves, makes a copy of the Gang, being an Werewolf that has not yet flipped, the Alpha should make it do so, but since it is a toke, would it "token flip"?
Thank you very much!

You will not be able to transform the token. Here's the rule:
711.1. A double-faced card has a Magic card face on each side rather than a Magic card face on one side and a Magic card back on the other. Each face may have abilities that allow the card to "transform," or turn over to its other face. Tokens and cards with a Magic card back can't transform. (See rule 701.27, "Transform.")
