Esix, the Fractal Bloom + Helm of the Host modification interaction

Say Esix, Fractal Bloom is equipped with Helm of the Host . When the token is created at combat, you have the option to make it a copy of another creature because of Esix's ability. If you do, does it retain the modification from Helm of the Host of being nonlegendary?
There are two different types of modifications on Helm of the Host . One is a self replacement effect, it modifies the token entering to be non-legendary, and if you choose to override that with Esix, Fractal Bloom 's ability choosing a legendary creature, the token will be legendary. This is because a self replacement effect needs to be applied before any other, and Esix 's ability will apply a legendary status after it's been removed. The other modification is granting haste to the token once it's created. Because this applies after the token is on the field, it can grant haste even if the token is a different creature creature due to Esix .

You have the option to change it as long as you haven't made other tokens yet. It will not maintain the modification.
