does Wirewood Symbiote make me return an elf to my hand each turn?

Asked by TowerOfBad 14 years ago

  1. Do I HAVE to return an elf to my hand each turn?
  2. It says "each turn" does this mean I can do it on my turn, then my opponents' as well? If it is a multiplayer game with 4 people, can I do it on each players turn?

You dont have to bounce an elf, but to use the ability you do.

It does say each turn, not 'only once on your turn', so you can use it on each players turn.

hope it helps

[Wirewood Symbiote]'s ability has a cost of returning an elf you control to it's owner's hand.since this is an activated ability, you don't HAVE to ever use it. it's just like a mana cost ability except you return the elf instead.

for the second part, yes, you are correct. you may play the ability once per turn. meaning, your turn, next persons' turn, and the next, and so on, so long as you have the elves to do so.

It couldn't be more obvious. Cast emrakul, end your turn, swing with emrakul, use changeling to give it all creature types, return it to your hand, cast it again, repeat
