Does K'rrik enable Verrak's ability?

I control a K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth and a Verrak, Warped Sengir and activate an ability with {B} in its cost that doesn't normally cost life. Can I copy that ability with Verrak?

For instance, if I for some reason want to activate Tomb of Urami by paying {2}{B} and 2 life, and I for some reason want to copy that ability, can I pay an additional 2 life to create another token?

And if I were to activate it by paying {2} and 4 life and wanted to copy it, I'd have to pay an additional 4 life?
