Does ghostly prison's ability stack?

Asked by nickiru 10 years ago

If I have 2 Ghostly Prison s out, does my enemy have to pay 4 mana per critter to attack? Similarly, if I have a Ghostly Prison and a windmorn muse, do they have to pay 4 mana per critter swinging?

Of do they just have to satisfy the demand of one card by paying 2 and it satisfies both cards?

Each one is a separate condition on attacking, and each one must be met separately to allow a creature to attack. They'll pay 2 per.

So it doesn't stack? By you saying that each must be met separately, do you mean that they satisfy each one at a time and they must pay the 2 mana twice? (sorry I am a bit brain dead right now, can you give me a 'yes' or 'no' answer, along with explanation?) thanks!

I thought I did give a clear answer. They pay for each one separately. If you have 2 Ghostly Prison , they have to pay (4) per creature.

SWEET, thanks a lot. Sorry, I like yes or no answers, I'm slightly autistic or something.....

This means it ain't worthless if I draw 2 Ghostly Prison s, it is actually really nasty; they ahve to pay 4 mana per critter; ouch. :D

Thanks!

try stacking four copies of Sphere of Safety ... pay X per 'critter', for one of them... pay 4*X for all of them, which is a minimum of 16, just for those four enchantments!

I run 4 of Ghostly Prison and Sphere of Safety with 2 Suppression Field. Some games I get people to pay 36 for a single attack... which no one playing anything besides TRON can do lol.
