Do Enchantment Creatures count as Enchantments for other spells?

Specifically, if I tutor for an enchantment, does it allow me to search for an enchantment creature?

Thanks, sorry for not giving an example, but your example is pretty much deals with the same situation as what I would have given (Enduring Ideal and Thassa's Devourer). Great to know that it works :D

It'd help if you gave the exact cards you were thinking of using, but we'll use Plea for Guidance and Eidolon of Blossoms for the sake of example.
Yes, you may. The only required type for the card you're searching for in Plea for Guidance is enchantment, and Eidolon of Blossoms meets that requirement. If there was a restriction in the ability like Zur the Enchanter, Eidolon wouldn't meet it since its CMC is too high (but something like Eidolon of Rhetoric would work).
