Diamond Lion and enhanced mana production

Diamond Lion's ability is a mana ability, since it adds mana. It also has to tap to use it. Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy and Leyline of Abundance add extra mana when a nonland permanent/creature is tapped for mana. Does these cards allow the Lion to generate extra mana?
As far as I can see, this works, but I want to make sure there's not some odd corner rule about paying more costs or sacrificing or something.

Part of the cost of Diamond Lion is to tap it. Therefore; you are tapping it for mana and both mentioned card would create additional mana.
