Damage prevention with Wild Slash

Asked by DarkAurora7 8 years ago

I'm confused about the extent that Wild Slash's ferocious effect stops damage prevention. If I cast it with the ferocious effect, does that mean my opponent's Winds of Qal Sisma has no effect during combat? What about if my opponent blocks my Dragonlord Ojutai with a Stormbreath Dragon? Does it effect protection?

Yes to both.

Wild Slash's ferocious effect stops all damage prevention for any reason, including damage explicitly prevented by Fog effects and damage prevented due to protection.
