Copying Minds Aglow?

If I copy Minds Aglow , does it get copied before or after "join forces?"

Before. X isn't paid till it resolves.

206.2c An ability word appears in italics at the beginning of some abilities on cards. Ability words are similar to keywords in that they tie together cards that have similar functionality, but they have no special rules meaning and no individual entries in the Comprehensive Rules. The ability words are channel, chroma, domain, grandeur, hellbent, imprint, join forces, kinship, landfall, metalcraft, radiance, sweep, and threshold.
Join Forces would happen for each copy. So copying the spell really wouldn't do anything. If you copied it and on the first one you drew X cards, and the second you drew Y cards, in total you drew Z cards, which you could have drawn in a single cast depending on how much people spent on it. So, to clarify. Join Forces happens AS the spell resolves. Not before or after. Searing Blaze for example. Landfall is also an ability word and behaves in the same way. Before you cast Searing Blaze, it is only going to do 1 damage to a player and creature. But, once you cast it, if a land has entered the battlefield, it resolves doing 3 damage. It happens as it resolves. It's just a part of the spell effect.

Thank you. A guy tried to do this yesterday with 2 Psychosis Crawler s with 14 mana paid into it. He copied Minds Aglow with Riku of Two Reflections and then said that we all lost 112 damage.

How? Each crawler would deal 28 damage which 52 not 112, even assuming the copying works the way he thinks.

He probably read Psychosis Crawler as working whenever anyone draws a card -.-

the mana gets paid as each copy resolves so in the big picher copying it is pointless
