Dominating Licid and sacrificing the enchanted creature

Asked by SurpriZe 5 years ago

1) Dominating Licid is attached to a creature with its ability as an enchantment aura.

2) The enchanted creature becomes sacrificed. For example, with Ashnod's Altar or High Market.

3) Since ending the effect of Dominating Licid's ability is a "special action", am I allowed to use it in response to the enchanted creature being sacrificed in order to save the Dominating Licid from going to the graveyard with the sacrificed creature?

I know that non-special abilities cannot be used to respond to a creature being sacrificed, but Dominating Licid's ability ending effect (paying ) is stated to be "special", hence I'm not sure about that interaction.

No. You can still only use it when you have priority. What makes it special is that it doesn't use the stack.
