Can you tap a Myr token for mana?

I wish to build a myr artifact deck, some cards like Myr Battlesphere Create tokens. Many myrs like Plague Myr , Alloy Myr , Palladium Myr , copper, gold, silver, leaden, and iron myr can all be tapped for mana. And creature tokens inherit the ability of the creature they are based off of.

No. Not unless the Myr has the ability to tap for mana.

Creature tokens inherit nothing. Their characteristics and abilities are explicitly defined by the effects that create them.

Also, creature types confer no inherent abilities. Not all Myr are able to tap for mana. The tokens created by Myr Battlesphere are 1/1s with no abilities.
