Cam you use multiple Rings of Brighthearth on the same activated ability?
Asked by SageQahnaarin 2 years ago
I have two Rings of Brighthearth under my control. I activate Ugin, the Spirit Dragon's -10 loyalty Ability. Can I pay 2 colorless mana for Rings of Brighthearth A and another 2 colorless mana for Rings of Brighthearth B to copy Ugin, the Spirit Dragon's loyalty ability twice?

Thanks and I'll make sure to use the double brackets next time.

As a note, the both triggers will go on the stack above the original activation. when one trigger resolves, it'll put the copy of the ability on the stack above the second trigger. This means, in your example, you'll draw 7 cards and put up to 7 permanents (possibly including land) into play before you need to pay for the other trigger.

You can use double square brackets around a card's name to create a reference link. It's the best way to make sure everyone understands what's going on in your question: Rings of Brighthearth , Ugin, the Spirit Dragon
Yes that works. Both Rings will trigger every time you activate an ability. You'll have the option to pay mana and make a copy for each of the Rings triggers.
